Small & Rural Hospital Leaders Medicaid MCO Forum - March 16

The Small & Rural Hospital Leaders Medicaid MCO Forum will provide (1) an update on the Medicaid Managed Care Reform Legislation (SB1321) and IHA’s efforts to work with the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) to fully implement its key provisions; (2) a brief overview of IHA staff’s ongoing efforts to work with hospital members to raise awareness with policymakers about the significant problems that still exist within the state’s Medicaid Managed Care system; and most importantly (3) an opportunity for small and rural hospital leaders to share your Medicaid Managed Care experiences with IHA, and with each other, in an effort to share possible solutions and generate ideas for further actions that can be taken by IHA and the hospital community to address these issues.
