Round Table Discussion: Cannabis Employment Policies

Hear firsthand how other hospitals plan to adjust their employment policies when recreational marijuana becomes legal in Illinois on Jan. 1, 2020. This in-person moderated discussion is a chance for hospital in-house counsel and human resources managers from across the state to share and discuss their approaches to their employment policy updates with each other.

Why does this matter? The Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act provides the broadest workplace protections for employers of any marijuana legislation statute in the country.

This discussion will benefit staff from all organizations, from large urban systems to rural critical access hospitals. IHA legal staff will be present to offer insight and answer questions.
