Is Your Cybersecurity Program "Left of Bang?" - Oct. 2

Is your organization staying “left of bang” with cybersecurity threats?

Picture the timeline of an incident—say, a data breach. When an organization is “right of bang,” the data breach has already occurred and you missed the warning signs. However, when your organization is “left of bang,” you are able to identify pre-event indicators that exist before the incident occurs, so you can intervene earlier and prevent the data breach from occurring.

In this complimentary webinar, IHA Event Sponsor Atos Digital Health Solutions Consulting will explore the development of a “prescriptive” solution that will move your organization to “left of bang” as well as ongoing actions needed to stay there. The webinar will look at the key factors impacting risk, such as growing medical device vulnerability and the industry transformation to value-based care, how to properly address these factors and how to effectively protect the sensitive and mission-critical assets of your organization against today’s new and evolving cybersecurity threats.

Atos Digital Health Solutions Consulting helps healthcare organizations clarify business objectives while pursuing safer, more effective solutions and managing costs and engagement across the care continuum. Atos’ deep healthcare knowledge and global expertise can help transform consumer experiences and deliver a volume-to-value transition that refocuses care. 2019 IHA Emergency Preparedness Exercise - Nov. 6

Cyberattacks are on the rise for hospitals and health systems. In 2016, healthcare organizations were the victim of 88% of all ransomware attacks in the U.S. With a hefty recovery price tag of over $1 million per attack, healthcare facilities must fortify their strategies to avoid being an easy target. On November 6, IHA’s annual Emergency Preparedness Exercise will simulate a cyberattack and its impact on a healthcare organization’s ability to maintain an effective environment of care with a significant impact to facility infrastructure.

Experience this full-scale, state-wide simulation in a live, interactive webinar exclusively for our membership. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a specialized inject track that focuses on facility evacuation and management of functional needs populations, including pediatric patients. With hospitals particularly vulnerable to a cyberattack, this program will help your hospital address all possible cyber weaknesses and shore up overall cyber preparedness.

Your organization will benefit from:

  • Strategies on enhancing your hospital’s ability to customize injects to meet specific, hospital, healthcare system or regional demands;

  • Lessons on improving capacity and capability to prepare for and respond to incidents that stress normal hospital daily operations; and

  • Participation at the functional level, which assists in meeting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requirement for preparedness exercise participation.

To save you time, IHA will complete all the required Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) documents on your behalf.
