Medical cannabis has been legal in Illinois since 2015 and approved as an opioid alternative in 2018. Beginning January 1, 2020, the recreational use of cannabis is legalized. Hospitals and physicians are faced with a number of challenges related to patient treatment and development of appropriate policies and procedures surrounding cannabis. Are you prepared?
